My neighbor housed out-of-control Great Dane Dogs

Our Little Yorkie girls did not deserve to die a violent death, due to a the neighbor;  who housed out of control Great Danes

Help fight for the rights of people who take good care of their Dogs & for "Aggressive Dog Owner Responsibility Law", to be upheld. Arizona Republic, Governor Jan Brewer signed on May 16, Arizona 2011- House Bill 2137 Revised Statute 11-1025 but FAILING in my case.

Animal Control Department, in the year 2010 there were approximately 900 dog-on-dog attacks. The new bill may reduce the number of serious injury dog attacks - animals that are prone to vicious attacks on animals may be more likely to attack people as well.

We are also Working on passing a Bill to make Landlords responsible for allowing their tenants to house Aggressive dogs. Most Transient renter do not carry any liability insurance to recover restitution to Victims. We need this law on the books and need all the support we can get

Letting our dogs be in situations where there is substantial risk of them killing other people's pets or even worse children who play in the neighborhood is just not responsible behavior. There are many dog owners who enjoy having vicious dogs capable of Killing; they even encourage such violent behavior. For this reason over the last year penalties have increased when Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed House Bill 2137 Under Arizona Revised Statute 11-1025, dog owners are now held criminally liable for the damages their pets cause to other people's pets and property. PETS ARE NO LONGER SUPPOSED TO BE CONSIDERED MERE PROPERTY

Although the New Bill provides for stiffer penalties: where if a dog attacks a dog it is a now a Class 1 misdemeanor, which could carry six months in jail and a $2,500 fine. This Criminal received substantially lesser charges in a Pleas Bargain.

Victims continue to be treated as though there loss is insignificant, dragged through long court processes, the Defendant gets a Plea bargain down to lesser offense & restitution is diminished. The New Bill is Not having much effect as to the charges fitting the crime in my case.

Careful training for a dog's mental stability & diligent management of a dog's environment helps keep dogs from acting like wild animals. When people are unable, unwilling, or unaware of how to manage their dogs, kills to other animals & injuries to humans becomes all too common.

Having a dog makes us responsible for the dog's actions, beginning with responsibility to select dogs we are capable of keeping under control The Defendant's transgressions have impeded my freedoms, with her unwillingness to get her dogs under control, resulting in the fatal attacks on my pets.

It is a proven fact that any dog that goes so wild as to attack, kill & eat another pet has the propensity to then attack humans & most likely children.
